What You'll do:
- Designing and implementing scalable analytical data models and semantic layers.
- Modeling and transforming data into consistent, business-ready analytical structures.
- Building, optimizing, and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines and automated data quality frameworks.
- Ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation, including business rules, data lineage, and transformation logic.
- Monitoring data quality, SLAs, observability, performance, and platform reliability.
- Developing and optimizing large-scale semantic models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Supporting BI, AI/ML, and analytics initiatives through reliable, governed, and accessible data assets.
- Driving best practices in data architecture, governance, CI/CD, testing, and performance optimization.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of team standards and delivery quality.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience delivering analytical solutions in modern data environments.
- Strong expertise in dimensional modeling, star schema design, medallion architecture, semantic layers, and data governance.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in performance tuning, partitioning, clustering, and large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks Workflows, or similar orchestration tools.
- Strong knowledge of PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python for advanced data transformations.
- Experience implementing CI/CD practices, version control, testing frameworks, and DevOps methodologies for data platforms.
- Practical experience with data quality, observability, lineage, and governance tools such as Microsoft Purview or Unity Catalog.
- Advanced Power BI modeling and DAX optimization skills.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, ADLS, or Amazon Redshift.
- A structured problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
