What You'll do:

- Design, build, and maintain backend applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability;

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements;

- Promote best practices in code quality, security, and testing throughout the development lifecycle;

- Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems;

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation;

- Hybrid Work Model.

What You Are:

- 5+ years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role within cross-functional teams;

- Proficiency in Kotlin for backend development;

- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Ktor frameworks;

- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including optimization and schema design;

- Familiarity with REST API design, microservices architecture, and cloud services (preferably AWS);

- Experience working in Agile environments with iterative delivery and continuous feedback;

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on performance tuning;

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;



Preferred Qualifications / Bonus Points:

- Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, SNS/SQS);

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform);

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes;

- Background working in startups or fast-paced environments.
