What You'll do:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain industrial connectivity solutions like Matrikon and Kepware to ensure seamless and reliable integration;

- Streamline and automate the installation and configuration processes for these products, ensuring consistency and efficiency across deployments;

- Serve as an Edge consultant, taking full ownership of the service's performance, including driving its adoption, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to its overall success;

- Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance edge technology, focusing on operational efficiency and reliability.

What You Are:

- +2 years of experience in an IT or OT automation environment.

- MBO or HBO education, preferably with a focus in IT;

- Basic understanding of OT concepts and protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC DA/UA, industrial networks);

- Familiarity with the concepts and functions of Process Control Systems, such as SCADA and DCS;

- Basic knowledge of Windows system administration;

- General understanding of infrastructure, including application servers and databases;

- Familiarity with system integration and integration principles using REST APIs, as well as protocols like MQTT and AMQP;

- Understanding of data concepts and structures, such as ISA-88 and JSON;

- Basic programming skills in languages like Node.js, Python, or Java, with a strong desire to develop further;

- Fundamental networking knowledge;

- Experience with cloud infrastructure and managed services, particularly with Amazon AWS;

- Preferably experienced in scripting for IT infrastructure deployment and containerization;

- Basic understanding of data analytics;

- Proficiency in business English, both written and spoken;

- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and Scrum methodologies at a conceptual level;

- Hybrid work model in Lisbon, Coimbra or Castelo Branco.
