What You'll do:

- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications (ideally .NET 6+) in a microservices architecture;

- Implement and support event-driven solutions using Kafka or equivalent technologies;

- Work with data streaming tools such as Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, or Spark Streaming;

- Apply event sourcing patterns in real-world projects;

- Ensure reliability in event-driven systems (e.g., at-least-once delivery, retries, idempotency);

- Collaborate in Agile environments, assuming technical ownership and responsibility;

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers;

- Contribute to a microservices ecosystem integrated via events;

- Hybrid Work Model.

What You Are:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent, obtained from a higher education institution in Portugal or officially recognized in Portugal;

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in .NET development (ideally .NET 6+);

- At least 3 years of experience working with microservices;

- Proven experience in event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar;

- Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, Spark Streaming);

- Solid knowledge of event-driven architecture, including producing/consuming events, error handling, and reliability assurance;

- Experience in applying Event Sourcing in at least one real-world project;

- Strong experience with Azure cloud environments;

- Proactive and technically driven, with the ability to mentor junior developers;

- Experience working in Agile teams with a strong sense of technical ownership.
