Frontend Developer (Mid)

What You'll do:

- Development of modern, responsive web applications (SPA/SSR);

- Translation of UI/UX designs into high-performance, accessible code;

- Component development in Angular (primary), React, or Vue.js;

- State management concepts (NgRx, Signals, or similar);

- API integration (REST, GraphQL) as well as error and loading state handling;

- Cross-browser testing and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals);

- Collaboration on design systems and component libraries;

- Close cooperation with UX designers, backend teams, and POs;

- Remote from Portugal; 

Who You Are:

Languages & Frameworks:

- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (incl. Flexbox / Grid), and TypeScript;

- Solid experience with Angular (v20) – including Standalone Components, Signals, RxJS, Angular CLI, and Module Federation;

- Knowledge of styling approaches: Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Styled Components;

Build & Tooling:

- Experience with Vite, Webpack, or comparable build tools;

- Testing: Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright;

- Git workflow (Feature Branches, PRs, Merge Requests);

Standards:

- Basic knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Accessibility;

- Basic understanding of SEO for public web applications;

Soft Skills & Working Style:

- Strong affinity for design and a sense for usability;

- Independent way of working and initiative;

- Strong communication skills in German and English;

- Experience in agile projects (Scrum / Kanban);

- Proactive feedback on UX issues and technical debt;

Nice-to-have:

Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) – especially SmartEdit, Spartacus/Composable Storefront, and CMS component model;

Experience with Headless CMS integrations (Storyblok, Contentful, Sanity);

Knowledge of Micro-Frontend architectures;

Experience with Storybook for component documentation;

Basic knowledge of Node.js (for BFF patterns or SSR adjustments);

Knowledge in the e-commerce environment (Composable Commerce, PWA);
