About the Opportunity

We are currently representing a tertiary cardiac center in Riyadh seeking a Western-trained Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a highly specialized team managing complex neonatal and pediatric cardiac surgeries.

This is a high-acuity, high-impact role within a leading institution known for advanced cardiac programs and multidisciplinary excellence.

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for:
  • Neonatal and pediatric cardiac surgeries
  • Complex congenital heart disease cases
• Manage perioperative care in collaboration with:
  • Cardiac surgeons
  • Pediatric intensivists
• Participate in:
  • Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) management
  • On-call rotation for cardiac cases
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and teaching

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Western Board Certification (US / UK / European / equivalent)
• Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia
• Minimum 5+ years post-consultant experience
• Proven experience in:
  • Cardiopulmonary bypass in neonates/infants
  • High-risk congenital cardiac cases

Licensing:

• Eligibility for Consultant classification with
   Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
