Location: Bedford
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 12-hour shifts (days & nights), 4 on 4 off
Contract: Permanent

Join a global food manufacturer at their modern Bedford site! Were looking for a proactive Multi Skilled Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills to keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

What Youll Do:

• Planned & reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose & repair mechanical/electrical faults.
• Work on pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems & control panels.
• Support installation & commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, and 18th Edition standards.

What Were Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC in Engineering.
• 18th Edition (preferred).
• 5+ years experience in food/FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical & PLC systems.
• Welding/fabrication experience desirable.
