Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
As a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of site machinery and services. Working as part of a 24/7 engineering team, you will support maintenance, maximise equipment uptime, and contribute to continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned maintenance, plant modifications, and small engineering projects
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns
• Maximise machine availability and operational efficiency
• Always maintain high health & safety standards
• Support continuous improvement and TPM initiatives

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Mechanical and electrical engineering skills (multi-skilled)
• Experience working with PLCs and process control systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally food production)

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Experience with TPM practices
• Background in fast-paced production environments
