Network Engineer

Position: Network Engineer (Full-time, Contract)

Job Description:

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, installing, and providing technical support for our clients' network systems. This includes both onsite and remote support, so the ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively is essential. You will be working closely with our clients to understand their network needs and provide customized solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and install network systems for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment

- Provide technical support for network systems, both onsite and remotely

- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner

- Collaborate with clients to understand their network needs and provide customized solutions

- Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology

- Document network configurations and changes for future reference

- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth project execution

- Adhere to company policies and procedures for network security and data protection

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
- Hands-on experience in at least 1-2 full cycles of network implementation projects

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols

- Experience with network equipment, such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP

- Proficient in network troubleshooting and problem-solving

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of network security best practices

- Certifications in network engineering (CCNA, CCNP) are a plus
