Backend Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a Backend Engineer who has hands-on experience building scalable systems, ideally for e-commerce or consumer-facing platforms. Youll work closely with product, design, and frontend teams to build a robust backend that powers our digital storefront.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain APIs, databases, and scalable server-side logic.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Work on payment gateway integrations, order management, and inventory systems.

Requirements:

12 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or similar.

Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Previous work (or internship/project) in e-commerce domain is a strong plus.
