Our US Partner Client Digital Marketing agency with headquarters in Cleveland Ohio. We are looking for a SEARCH MARKETING STRATEGIST who can be an asset to the team!
The Search Marketing Strategist will work with multiple Digital Marketing Account Managers (DAM) and own the content strategy, content optimization, content publishing, and local SEO optimization and promotion process.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work From Home set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Onboarding
Ensure the client has completed the Content Brief
Identify each clients target audience(s) and brand voice(s)
Complete and present Competitor Analysis and Keyword Research and Mapping
Develop and present content roadmap based on words per month taken from the SOW
Content auditing at the start of all new campaigns to determine the performance of content and identify new or existing opportunities
Digital Marketing Campaign Fulfillment
Execute and fulfill content strategy on multiple digital marketing campaigns
Communicate with clients via email to ensure monthly scope fulfillment is kept on schedule, including approval and edits
Track task management and delegation in our project management platform, Wrike
Content marketing topic ideation, workflow management, copywriting and/or content ordering, internal & client approvals
Comprehensive on-page content optimization
Content publishing and QA (quality assurance)
Add topics to CMW as needed so the client has multiple topics to choose from if the recommended topics are rejected
Make sure client CMW is consistently updated as production is completed
Google Business Profile post creation and scheduling
Use Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics (GA4), Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Agency Analytics, and other tools to perform data analysis and keyword research as needed
Report prep (as needed)
Other tasks assigned
Review and approve monthly content invoice based on production
Pre and post-launch testing of new websites we design that have a DM component
Contribute to the agency as a DM strategy expert
Provide strategic and tactical support to AMs, improving processes and developing best practices
Support account manager on account renewals and upsells when applicable
Make recommendations to continually improve and update agency SOPs
Contribute to the entrepreneurial spirit of the agency; working with other digital experts to brainstorm and develop new products and services
QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate may be a graduate of at least a Bachelors/College Degree in any related field
Ability to navigate and edit WordPress websites
Strong foundation of SEO and content marketing (2+ years of SEO experience required)
Aspiration of becoming a digital account manager
Proven experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile
Excellent at proactive problem solving with the ability to translate policies into daily routine operations
Self-assured, confident, goal-oriented and able to be transparent in communication with everyone in the agency
Google Analytics Academy Certification is a plus (all four courses)
Digital agency experience is a plus
