About the job Patching Analyst
Our US Partner Client is a rapidly growing technology solutions provider focusing upon Cloud, Cyber Security, Networking, Disaster Recovery and Managed Services.
As a Patching Analyst, you will be responsible for configuration tasks, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and creating documentation of processes when needed. We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate technical proficiency and has the desire to learn and be involved in maintaining the security of our clients through the patching process. As part of the Platform Team, youll be responsible for supporting internal staff and the clients in utilizing their systems to manage and support their environments.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work in the office set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboarding new clients. This includes creating policies to apply settings consistently over the clients endpoints
Troubleshooting issues with the patching process, including installation failures
Performing regular maintenance of our systems, including patch approval and maintenance of 3rdparty patch catalogs
Keeping up with education on new features to provide support and training to staff and clients
Assist other team members with tasks outside of patching as time permits
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years of experience as a Patching Analyst or in a similar role
Strong experience supporting Linux servers and desktops
Solid background in desktop and server support
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft patching schedules and deployment methods
Proficient in troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy issues
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills using logs and research
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Broad understanding of IT systems, concepts, and methodologies
Quick learner with a strong aptitude for new technologies
Other Preferred Technical Knowledge:
Kaseya Patch Management, Reporting, Agent Procedures, and Policy Management
Microsoft/Linux Server and Workstation Operating Systems
Troubleshooting server software configuration issues
VMware vSphere & ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V
Group Policy administration
