About the job Legal Counsel Manager
Role Overview:
Our US partner provides coworking spaces inspired by hospitality with locations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for handling day to day operational work, which may include (1) review of deal agreements and/or operational contracts including membership agreements, events, operational, IT, and/or HR agreements, (3) corporate secretarial management, (4) bad debt or litigation management, and/or (5) compliance matters.
An ideal candidate should have a proactive and hardworking work ethic and be structured and detail-oriented in their work. They should also be able to communicate well with the people around them, as well as with counterparties, including to be a proactive and independent worker, as well as commercially balanced and market-savvy. The Legal Counsel Manager, APAC will report to the Director of Legal, APAC.
Who you are:
- Hold a qualification from an accredited institution
- With minimum of 3-5 years of inhouse legal experience, in particular in handling deal and operational contracts review, corporate secretarial and bad debt and litigation management. Compliance expertise would be a bonus.
- Experience in a real estate, service office or co-working space will be an added advantage
- Proven track record in handling multiple projects on tight timelines efficiently and successfully
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
