About the job Account Manager
Our U.S partner is seeking a highly experienced accounting professional to serve as a client-facing Account Manager, responsible for overseeing financial accuracy, managing client relationships, and guiding internal accounting workflows.
This role requires a strong balance of technical accounting expertise and client communication skills, with the ability to operate independently and proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Manage ongoing communication and maintain strong relationships
- Provide accounting guidance and respond to client inquiries
- Review bookkeeping and accounting work prepared by staff
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or risks prior to final delivery
- Work with internal teams to resolve accounting issues
- Ensure proper documentation and adjustments are completed
- Maintain accountability across workflows
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Track deliverables across multiple clients and industries
- Maintain structured processes and accurate time tracking
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of accounting experience (CPA firm experience strongly preferred)
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial statement analysis and review
- General accounting and bookkeeping oversight
- Proficiency in:
- QuickBooks Online and Desktop (required)
- Yardi (preferred)
- Experience working with multiple clients across industries
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities
