About the job Human Resource Officer

The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, timekeeping, payroll coordination, compliance with Philippine labor laws, and HR administration. This role ensures smooth HR operations and promotes a positive workplace culture aligned with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Onboarding

Source, screen, and schedule applicants.

Coordinate interviews with department heads.

Prepare job offers and employment contracts.

Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.

Maintain updated manpower status and hiring tracker.

2. Employee Records and HR Administration

Maintain 201 files and employee database.

Monitor employee movements (regularization, promotion, transfer, resignation).

Prepare HR-related documents (certificates, memos, notices).

Ensure confidentiality of employee records.

3. Timekeeping and Payroll Support

Monitor attendance, leaves, and overtime.

Validate timesheets before payroll processing.

Coordinate with Payroll/Accounting for salary concerns.

Address employee pay inquiries.

4. Employee Relations

Handle employee concerns and grievances.

Assist in administrative hearings and documentation.

Implement disciplinary procedures in line with company policy.

Support employee engagement activities.

5. Labor Law Compliance

Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.

Monitor statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

Assist in DOLE inspections and reportorial requirements.

Update company policies as needed.

6. Training and Development

Coordinate internal and external training programs.

Maintain training records and matrix.

Assist in performance evaluation processes.

7. Other Administrative Tasks

Support company events and HR initiatives.

Prepare HR reports as required by management.

Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or

related field.

At least 1–3 years HR experience (Philippine setting preferred).

Knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.

Experience in timekeeping and payroll coordination is an advantage.

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Preferred (for Manufacturing Setup)

Experience handling rank-and-file employees.

Familiar with DOLE compliance and audit.

Experience in high-volume hiring.
