About the job E-Commerce Platform Specialist
Our US Partner is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented E-Commerce Platform Specialist to own the day-to-day operation of their e-commerce platform portfolio. The ideal candidate will manage a proprietary branded store platform built in-house, as well as a third-party enterprise e-commerce platform used for complex client deployments.
This role requires strong technical execution, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, sales departments, and enterprise clients. You will spend most of your time inside the platforms building, configuring, and troubleshooting configurations independently.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work From Home set-up.
If you have the right skill set, this may be your opportunity to enter this fast-growing organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Operations (70%)
Build, configure, and launch branded client stores on both internal and external e-commerce platforms.
Handle HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript customizations independently, without escalating to the development team.
Configure products, categories, pricing, access rules, approval workflows, and checkout settings per client.
Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with client identity providers, including Azure AD.

Keep platform records current, including store specifications, configuration decisions, and onboarding runbooks.
Client and Sales Support (20%)
Serve as the operational point of contact for active store clients, handling configuration requests, asset updates, and reporting.
Work alongside the sales team to scope new store requirements before commitments are made to a client.
Translate client briefs into concrete platform configurations, flagging what is native, what needs custom work, and what is out of scope.
Support store launches end-to-end, covering requirements gathering, building, QA, and final go-live execution.
Roadmap and Migrations (10%)
Feed the internal platform roadmap with client and operational requirements, working closely with the Head of Technology and front-end developers.
Plan and execute migrations of existing client stores from legacy platforms like Magento and Shopify onto the current platform stack.
Inventory existing store configurations, product catalogs, and integrations before initiating migrations.
Manage content and data transfers, re-platforming workflows seamlessly where necessary.
