Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver individual sales targets for IT/software solutions into banking and financial services accounts in Japanese sector in Thailand.
  • Develop and execute account plans and go-to-market strategies for new logos and existing strategic accounts.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with decision-makers at banks and financial institutions (IT, Operations, Treasury, Payments, and C-level).
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, proposal and pricing, commercial negotiation, and closing.
  • Coordinate with pre-sales, delivery, and product teams to shape solutions and respond to RFP and TOR.
  • Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline; maintain accurate forecasting and reporting in CRM.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction, renewals, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, and stay current on financial-technology trends, competitors, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of B2B/enterprise sales experience in IT, software, or technology solutions.
  • Direct sales experience into the banking / financial services industry, with an established network and relationships.
  • Solid understanding of banking applications and solutions — Core Banking, Payment systems (domestic and cross-border/overseas) and/or other BFSI related solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, consultative, and high-value sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen: proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Business-level English, both written and spoken.

Preferred / Advantageous

  • Japanese language ability (business level preferred; conversational is a plus) to support Japanese clients and partners.
  • Experience selling for a software vendor, system integrator, or fintech serving financial institutions.
  • (Preferable) Familiarity with payment schemes/rails, cross-border payments, treasury/liquidity management, or regulatory frameworks relevant to banking in Thailand and the region.
  • (Preferable) Existing relationships with Japanese financial institutions or Japanese technology partners.
