Role Purpose

  • The Senior IT QA will lead end-to-end quality assurance activities for the implementation of Ascentis CRM, ensuring the new system meets business requirements, integrates smoothly with related systems, and is production ready. This role will drive test strategy, coordinate testing across stakeholders, and coach other QA team members while working closely with the Coffee Concepts Lead QA, project team, vendor, developers, and business users.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the QA strategy and test approach for the Ascentis CRM

implementation (functional, integration, regression, UAT support).

Translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

Plan and execute system testing, including CRM workflows, customer data,

segmentation, campaigns, loyalty, and reporting.

Validate integrations (e.g., POS, Mobile Application, Website, Member link with 3rd party system, Grab/Lineman, and more, based on project scope).

Establish and manage defect lifecycle: logging, triage, prioritization with

stakeholders, retest, and closure.

Ensure testing coverage for data migration from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Ascentis CRM (reconciliation, completeness, accuracy).

Coordinate and support UAT: prepare UAT plan, guide business users, ensure defect follow-up, and sign-off readiness.

Collaborate with vendor/developers on root cause analysis and risk mitigation.

Produce clear QA deliverables: test plan, test summary report, defect metrics,

release readiness assessment.

  1. Traceability Matrix (RTM) : Maps requirements to test cases to ensure coverage
  2. Defect tracking and escalation: defect data / log
  3. Progress monitoring: Reporting summary /Test executed reports, progress updates,status updates etc.
  4. Recovery plans for delays or risks

Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes, templates, and

(where relevant) test tools.

Mentor the mid-level QA; review test cases and ensure quality of outputs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or

equivalent experience).

5-8+ years of QA experience, including enterprise application or CRM projects.

Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, defect management, test design techniques.

Hands-on experience supporting CRM implementation and system integration

testing.

Experience with data migration testing and reconciliation is strongly preferred.

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (IT, vendor, business).

Technical / Tool Skills (Preferred)

Familiar with test management and defect tools (e.g., Jira, AWS/Aure, DevOps).

Basic SQL for data validation; ability to validate data across systems.

Understanding of APIs (REST), integration concepts, and how to test interfaces.

Experience in retail/F&B, loyalty, and customer engagement systems is a plus.
