About the job Marketing and Brand Manager
About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing Thai consumer health and nutrition brand, founded recently and scaling rapidly. Their products serve consumers with specific daily nutritional needs, and the business has been built entirely through digital commerce — marketplace, social commerce, live selling and a large affiliate creator network.
Over the next two years they are expanding from a single product line into a broader health portfolio, and from online-only into new sales channels including modern trade.
They sell to people making a considered decision about their health. How the brand communicates matters as much as what it sells. The full company name and business details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Marketing & Brand Manager to own the brand and lead the entire in-house marketing team.
This is not a traditional brand role. The brand is not built through a handful of large campaigns a year — it is built through content published daily across multiple channels, through a large creator network, and through live commerce. You will be the guardian of what the brand stands for, and equally the leader who makes sure the work ships.
You will report directly to the Founder and lead a five-person team spanning creative, content, design, campaign execution and paid media. Everything is done in-house. There is no agency between you and the work.
What You Will Do
Own the brand
- Define and protect the brand identity, key messages, tone of voice and brand guidelines across the current range and future product lines
- Translate direction from the Founder into practical standards the team can apply without needing to ask twice
- Act as final approver on creative output before publication, covering messaging, visual standards, and compliance with regulations on product claims
Lead the marketing team
- Manage, develop and set direction for five specialists: Creative Marketer, Content Marketer, Graphic Designer, Marketing Executive and Ads Optimizer
- Set individual objectives, run regular performance conversations, and build the capability of each team member
- Establish the brief, review and feedback process that raises first-pass approval rates and reduces rework
- Allocate resource across brand work, campaign delivery and always-on content so the team is neither idle nor overloaded
- Become the layer that allows the Founder to step back from reviewing individual pieces of work
Plan and deliver campaigns
- Convert brand strategy into a monthly campaign calendar and content plan with clear owners and deadlines
- Deliver a high volume of content output across multiple channels, consistently and on schedule
- Lead go-to-market planning for new products, from positioning and key message through to the full launch asset set
Drive commercial performance
- Own the marketing contribution to revenue, directing paid media strategy and holding the Ads Optimizer accountable for efficiency targets
- Set the budget allocation across channels and campaigns, and adjust based on results
- Read channel-level performance data and translate it into changes to the content and campaign plan
- Work closely with the affiliate and live commerce functions so brand building and sales performance move together, and maintain the quality of assets supplied to affiliate partners and creators
What You Bring
Required
- 3+ years in marketing, with genuine ownership of both brand direction and commercial results
- Experience leading or mentoring a team, ideally across mixed disciplines including creative and paid — or clear readiness to step up into your first full team-management role
- Direct experience with brands where marketplace or social commerce is the primary sales channel, and working knowledge of affiliate, live commerce and creator management
- Commercial literacy in paid media — you may not run the ads yourself, but you can set targets, interrogate the numbers and direct an Ads Optimizer with authority
- Strong editorial judgement — you can say why a piece of work is on brand or off brand, not just that it is
- A hands-on operator's mindset; there is no agency to brief here
Advantageous
- Background in supplements, health, wellness or beauty
- Familiarity with Thai advertising regulations for supplement products and the limits on health claims
- Experience marketing to health-conscious or other considered-purchase audiences
- Involvement in a brand's expansion from pure online into trade channels
- Experience building a marketing team from a small base as a company scales
