Senior Data Engineer (Data Lake & Integration)

Overview:
We are supporting a strategic industrial client in building their enterprise data platform to support real-time analytics, IoT, and AI initiatives. This Data Engineer role is key to developing cloud-native data lakes and integrating systems across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines across ERP, IoT, and production systems.

• Build and maintain a cloud-native data lake (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using modern frameworks.

• Collaborate with analytics, operations, and IT teams to enable data readiness for BI and AI.

• Ensure data governance, PDPA compliance, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.

• Strong experience in data pipeline development, data processing frameworks, and scripting languages commonly used in modern data engineering(e.g., Python, SQL, data orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow, cloud-based ETL tools, or distributed data processing engines such as Spark or Flink).

• Experience with cloud platforms and integration with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP - SAP, IoT).

• Familiarity with data governance, data privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA), and standards such as ISO27001 is desirable.
