Overview
Our client, a well-established traditional business, is launching an innovation unit to transform operations and drive growth through advanced technology, including AI and software solutions. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team of 20 professionals across Product Management, Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, UX/UI Design, and AI Engineering, ensuring innovation initiatives deliver tangible business impact and align with P&L goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead innovation proof-of-concept (POC) projects to identify, develop, and validate new technology-driven solutions.

• Drive change management processes, collaborating with stakeholders to implement transformation initiatives.

• Propose innovation strategies and business-impacting changes to senior management.

• Oversee the entire innovation lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring solutions are scalable and commercially viable.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, securing buy-in for innovation initiatives.

• Manage, coach, and inspire a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

• Align innovation projects with strategic business objectives and market opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in innovation, software development, or technology-related roles.

• Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience, preferably in cross-functional team settings.

• Proven ability to integrate business acumen with technology innovation to deliver measurable growth.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing at the management level.

• Hands-on experience with AI, emerging technologies, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with change management frameworks and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in both corporate and startup/innovation environments.

• Demonstrated success in launching and scaling new technology products or services.

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
