Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Data and AI to lead the companys data and AI vision, strategy, and execution. This role combines technical leadership, AI research direction, data strategy, and enterprise solution delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Data Science, proven experience with LLM implementation, and the leadership capability to build and scale high-performing Data and AI teams.

You will serve as the organizations data and AI authority, shaping the roadmap, guiding innovation, and ensuring successful deployment of scalable AI and data solutions at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

Data & AI Strategy

  • Define and drive the company-wide Data and AI strategy and roadmap

  • Act as the internal and external Data & AI subject-matter expert

  • Identify new opportunities where data and AI can create business value

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across Data Engineering, Data Science, AI Engineering, and AI Research

  • Build a strong culture focused on innovation, experimentation, and delivery excellence

  • Oversee hiring, capability development, and team scaling initiatives

Solution Delivery

  • Guide end-to-end delivery of enterprise data and AI solutions, from concept to deployment

  • Ensure scalable, secure, and production-ready architectures

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, and Business Teams to translate data and AI into measurable business outcomes

AI Research & Innovation

  • Drive research initiatives in LLMs, Generative AI, and advanced ML techniques

  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and integrate relevant advancements into company solutions

  • Establish best practices in AI model governance, evaluation, and lifecycle management

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering

  • Proven hands-on experience implementing LLM-based solutions in production environments

  • At least 3 years of experience managing Data or AI teams

  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale enterprise IT, data, or AI solutions

  • Solid understanding of data architecture, AI model lifecycle, MLOps, and data pipelines

  • Ability to balance research innovation with practical business delivery

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on enterprise-scale or mission-critical technology projects

  • Background in AI productization, data platforms, or AI platform development

  • Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, and data governance frameworks
