Senior Backend Developer(Data Product)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong expertise in Java or Scala to join the core product development team.
This role focuses on designing and building backend modules that serve as foundational components of the companys enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java/Scala-based applications that form part of the enterprise data platform.

• Build backend components that interact with large-scale data processing systems.

• Work independently on assigned tasks while adhering to established guidelines and coding standards.

• Collaborate with team leads to estimate development effort, create implementation plans, and deliver work according to schedule.

• Participate in technical discussions to improve architecture, performance, and scalability of platform services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java and/or Scala development.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields.

• Familiarity with Spring, Akka, or similar frameworks used for building scalable backend systems.

• Understanding of distributed systems and backend microservices is an advantage.

• Experience with Big Data frameworks such as Spark is a significant plus.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
