Project Overview
Our confidential client is seeking an HR Consultant to deliver a 6-week HR documentation project focused on building core HR policies and practical SOPs. The consultant will assess current practices, design fit-for-purpose documents, and support rollout readiness. This is a time-bound project with an immediate joining requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid current-state assessment (documents, practices, gaps) and confirm priority policy/SOP list.
- Draft and update core HR policies (e.g., attendance, leave, disciplinary, onboarding, HR operations) aligned with applicable local requirements and company standards.
- Create end-to-end HR SOPs with clear steps, owners, inputs/outputs, and templates/forms where needed.
- Build an HR document control approach (versioning, approvals, distribution) and ensure consistency across documents.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and review cycles to capture business needs and secure sign-off.
- Prepare rollout toolkit: summaries, FAQs, and brief training/enablement session for HR/line managers.
- Deliver final policy pack and SOP library with an implementation and handover plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of HR experience with proven policy writing and SOP development.
- Strong understanding of HR operations (employee lifecycle processes) and documentation best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and writing skills (clear, practical, and structured).
- Ability to deliver to tight timelines and manage multiple review stakeholders.
- Arabic and English communication skills are required.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- CIPD, SHRM, or similar professional certification.
- Experience building HR manuals or HR governance frameworks from scratch.
- Exposure to ISO-style documentation discipline and audit readiness.
- Experience working with contractors, multi-site operations, or project mobilizations.
Success Metrics
- Approved policy pack delivered within 6 weeks with clear ownership and governance.
- HR SOP library completed with practical steps, templates, and document control.
- Stakeholder sign-off achieved with minimal rework and strong usability feedback.
- Rollout readiness: brief enablement delivered and handover completed.
- On-time delivery against the agreed project plan and milestones.
