We are seeking an experienced Payroll Reporting Manager to take ownership of the Payroll Division and move it forward to a state of the art division. This is a hand-on role focusing on data quality and efficient reporting. This role is ideal for an existing SAP Payroll Manager looking to step up into a division Manager role. Reporting directly to the Deputy Finance Manager, you will :

  • Interpret and apply industrial Awards and Enterprise Bargaining agreements and provide clear and concise information to staff.
  • Extract relevant data from SAP payroll system and create relevant reporting for HR, Finance and Executives
  • Implement payroll process improvements and payroll system implementations
  • Review systems, procedures and training to meet the data requirements of other systems (for example SuccessFactors, CultureAmp, Immigration compliance systems and other systems as required.)
  • Process mapping payroll processes and documentations
  • Monitor and review personnel and payroll data accuracy, including manual calculations and reconciliations (i.e., terminations, including redundancies, leave reconciliations and salary continuance etc.)

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using SAP payroll and excellent understanding of SAP architecture
  • Experience in producing complex SAP payroll reports
  • Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve issues
  • Team management experience
