Are you a relationship-driven fundraising professional ready to make a global impact? Our client, Save the Children New Zealand, is seeking a passionate and strategic Philanthropy Advisor to join their high-performing team in Wellington.

The Opportunity
This newly created role offers the chance to shape and grow key fundraising streams including mid-level donors, trusts and foundations, and third-party events. Reporting to the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a mid-value donor strategy to drive engagement and retention
- Preparing compelling funding applications and accountability reports for trusts and foundations
- Coordinating fundraising events and initiatives with schools, businesses, and community groups
- Building and stewarding relationships with donors, funders, and partners
- Collaborating across teams to deliver multichannel fundraising campaigns
What We are Looking For
You will bring a strong background in fundraising, with a particular focus on relationship management and grant writing. Key skills and experience include:
- Proven success in trust and foundation fundraising
- Experience coordinating donor engagement and event-based fundraising
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and reporting capabilities
- Strategic thinking and empathy-driven donor stewardship
