Senior HR & ER Advisor – Wellington (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR & Employee Relations Advisor to join a well-established organisation based in Wellingtons central city, offering a hybrid working environment.
In this role, you will provide expert HR advice and support across a broad range of people matters, with a strong focus on employee relations, employment law, and complex case management. You will work closely with managers and leaders to deliver practical HR solutions that support positive workplace outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice on employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary processes
- Supporting leaders with performance management and employment relations issues
- Interpreting and applying New Zealand employment legislation and policies
- Coaching managers to build strong people management capability
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About you:
- Proven experience in a senior HR advisory or ER-focused role
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law and ER practices
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex and sensitive people matters
