An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. Based in a superb location in Thorndon, you will be joining a wonderful team at Caritas and will play an integral role, providing a high level of support.
As Executive Assistant you will provide a professional executive support service, including active and efficient diary management, organisation and administration of meetings and functions, and dealing discreetly with matters and communications of a confidential nature and keeping up to date with current policy and initiatives affecting Caritas.
The skills and experience you bring to this role:
- Proven experience as an Assistant supporting senior leaders
- Strong skills in calendar and meeting management, minute taking, financial administration, and travel coordination and management
- Experience in the preparation of Board meetings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Professional presentation and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience in the NFP Humanitarian sector would be ideal, alternatively a genuine desire to work a faith based organisation.
