About the Opportunity

Talent Group NZ is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Business Support Manager. This is a key middle-management role responsible for leading business support functions and ensuring smooth, efficient operations across the organisation.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and supporting senior leadership, while ensuring high-quality administrative and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the business support and administration team
• Oversee day-to-day operational support functions across the organisation
• Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and workflows
• Manage budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships
• Support senior leadership with reporting, coordination, and operational planning
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and H&S requirements
• Act as a key point of contact across internal teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
• Coordinate projects, documentation, and business support initiatives

About You

• Proven experience in a Business Support Manager, Office Manager, or Operations role
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and process improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems

Desirable

• Experience in corporate, government, or professional services environments
• Exposure to governance, compliance, or project coordination
• Understanding of NZ workplace practices and systems
