RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quantitative Researcher provides the foundation for the data analytics work that we do at Strategyn. Strategyn is growing rapidly, so this individual will need to play a key role in continuing to refine and perfect this critical element of our ODI process. This position resides in the Product function within the company but will work closely with the Delivery team at Strategyn. Successful candidates for this role will be intellectually curious and possess an innate ability to create structure and process from complex and ambiguous subject matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop data analysis plans to make sure that the resulting outputs would include the needed results.
- Develop questionnaires that will meet client goals and deliver statistically valid results, this includes but is not limited to ability to develop meaningful sample plans, screening criteria, etc.
- Build Strategyns data model.
- Develop and maintain templates for building the Strategyn data model in different platforms like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Run Strategyns segmentation methodology and make recommendations on the segmentation solution.
- Develop decks to recommend initial strategies based on the data to answer key questions and the initial strategy.
- Develop enhancements to Strategyns segmentation methodology.
- Develop and test alternative quantitative methodologies and analysis.
- Implement quantitative methodologies to be adopted company-wide.
- Improve and maintain data tool templates to better satisfy the needs of the internal team and clients.
- Be up to date on new methodologies:
- Segmentation
- Survey design
- Data quality
- Data visualization.
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) on questionnaire design and data analysis methods.
- Develop enhancements to Strategyns process on questionnaire development, data analysis and strategy development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Researcher level: Bachelors degree or higher (BA/BS or similar degree preferred)
- Research level: A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in doing and improving quantitative research methodologies
- 6-sigma mentality, understanding of how business processes are measured and tracked (preferred)
- Proficiency to advanced skills with Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Advanced skills with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Advanced skills with statistical software and languages (SPSS, JMP, R, Python, SQL)
- Ability to work effectively in a Mac computing environment
- Experience with machine learning in AI is a plus
SENIOR QUANTITATIVE RESEARCHER

- Lead a team of quantitative researchers
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) on questionnaire design and data analysis methods.
- Develop enhancements to Strategyns process on questionnaire development, data analysis and strategy development.
- Assist executives with special requests / high-priority projects related to questionnaire design and strategy development.
- Conduct new/refresher training on data analysis methods
- Conduct on-boarding training for new hires in questionnaire design, data analysis and strategy development
- Keep training material content updated (existing + new modules in the LMS system)
- Keep SOPs on questionnaire design, data analysis, and strategy development up to date.
- As required, serve as chief instructor on client training-related projects
- Advises the assigned Engagement Manager on managing the training activities planned for the project
- Participates in SME role for client project meetings involving training, as requested by the Engagement Managers
- Update Strategyn products based on learning from application work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in statistics, survey design, data analytics, or similar required
- 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in doing and improving quantitative research methodologies and experience managing a team of 3+ employees
- 6-sigma mentality, understanding of how business processes are measured and tracked (preferred)
- Proficiency to advanced skills with Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Advanced skills with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Advanced skills with statistical software and languages (SPSS, JMP, R, Python, SQL)
- Ability to work effectively in a Mac computing environment
- Experience with machine learning in AI is a plus
- Ability to propose alternative methodologies for all quantitative analyses
- Experience in teaching and managing others preferred
- Knowledge of different teaching methodologies preferred
