About the job Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the company through development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver the firms services
- Create and manage financial and resource budget
- Manage customer relations to ensure retention, customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Continuous improvement system to ensure efficient, effective, and safe work practices.
- Ensure that business operations are efficient and effective, and resources are properly managed
- Recruiting, hiring, firing and retention of Operations Team
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth utilizing KPIs to instill a system of accountability that meets the company's culture for each team member
- Lead team to achieve maximum performance and dedication through on-going coaching, proper communication, encouragement, team member feedback, performance reviews and management system
- Communicate and instill the company's Mission, Vision and Culture so that it is inter-woven throughout the organization and infiltrates the employees actions
- Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
- Design and implement business strategies to maintain and grow the company profits
- Receive and interpret daily/weekly management reports and provide details to President
- Coordination with peer leaders to plan, create strategies and execute the company business goals
- Develop and execute an annual, 90-day plan and budget
Requirements
- Understanding of HDD and underground utility construction
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Working knowledge of IT /Business infrastructure and Microsoft Office
