Key Responsibilities:

Handle a varied civil litigation caseload, including property, landlord & tenant, consumer, and contract disputes.

Progress cases from inception through to settlement or final hearing.

Prepare legal documents (Pleadings, Witness Statements, Trial Bundles, etc.) and attend hearings, mediations, and conferences where required.

Provide high-quality client service and meet internal service standards and billing targets.

Advise on legal merits, liability, evidence, funding options, and settlement strategies.

Use in-house case management systems effectively to record all activity.

Keep up to date with legal developments and maintain professional competence.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience in civil litigation.

Excellent communication and client care skills.

Strong organisational ability with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.

Confident in working independently and collaboratively.

Proficient in MS Office and capable of adapting to bespoke legal software.

Positive, proactive, and committed to continuous development.
