A well-established and expanding legal firm is looking for a Senior Property Lawyer to join its dynamic Conveyancing Department in Horsforth. Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential property matters, including freehold, leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions.

Handle files from instruction to completion with the support of an assistant where appropriate.

Meet and exceed individual KPIs and business-wide SLAs, including monthly completions targets.

Communicate effectively with clients, referrers, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders.

Liaise with panel members, ensuring all activity aligns with their service level expectations.

Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, Transfers of Part, and Deeds of Easements.

Utilise the in-house case management system in accordance with firm procedures.

Attend training sessions, 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and team meetings.

Provide exceptional client service and uphold high professional and ethical standards.

Be a role model in terms of file management, communication, and behaviour.
What Were Looking For
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a conveyancing or property fee earner role (more senior applicants welcomed).

Strong knowledge and experience handling leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions.

Preferably experience working with small developers and site setup matters.

Proficiency using Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, Online SDLT submissions, and panel websites.

Thorough understanding of AML regulations, CQS compliance, and SRA obligations.

Proven ability to manage deadlines and workload independently.

Highly developed communication, organisation, and IT skills.
-
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing demands.

A proactive, risk-based, and process-driven approach to conveyancing.
