About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Property Lawyer to join our expanding Conveyancing Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven conveyancer looking to manage a varied caseload of sale and purchase matters, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of property transactions with support from an assistant where appropriate

Handle residential sale and purchase matters including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership

Work in line with individual and departmental KPIs and SLAs

Attend training sessions, reviews, and team meetings

Liaise with clients, solicitors, referrers, and stakeholders via phone, email, and in person

Maintain compliance with referrer requirements and panel SLAs
-
Use our bespoke case management system effectively and in line with internal protocols

Demonstrate strong file management and high standards of client service

Fulfil additional responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Conveyancing Manager or Senior Management Team
About You
We are looking for someone who can bring experience, efficiency, and enthusiasm to the role.
Essential:
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a conveyancing fee earner role (more senior levels also considered)

Solid experience with leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions

Familiarity with case management systems, Land Registry portal, SDLT online, and panel updates

In-depth understanding of AML regulations, CQS standards, and SRA compliance

Track record of achieving performance targets and deadlines

Strong communication, client care, and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Competent IT skills, including MS Office
Desirable:

Experience acting for small developers and handling site set-ups, including drafting new build contracts, Transfers of Part, and Deeds of Easements

A proactive, process-driven approach to conveyancing and legal risk management
