Job Summary

The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall human resources functions of the school, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with Indonesian labor regulations, and alignment with organizational goals and strategies. This role oversees end-to-end HR operations, employee relations, talent management, policy development, and workforce planning to support a productive and positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth employee integration.

2. HRIS & Data Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HRIS systems for accurate employee data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of HR records and documentation.

3. Employee Relations

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution professionally and fairly.
  • Foster a positive and harmonious work environment.

4. Performance Management

  • Lead KPI setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support department heads in implementing effective performance management practices.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and develop employee learning and development programs.
  • Coordinate internal and external training initiatives to enhance employee capabilities.

6. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Oversee payroll coordination and ensure accurate employee compensation processes.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including BPJS and other benefit programs.

7. Policy & Compliance

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the school's compliance with employment-related legal requirements.

8. Expatriate Management

  • Coordinate expatriate documentation, including work permits, visas, and related compliance matters.

9. Strategic HR Management

  • Collaborate with management and the Board of Trustees on HR strategies, organizational development, and workforce planning.
  • Support organizational growth through effective HR initiatives and talent management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong HR Generalist experience across multiple HR functions.
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian labor law and industrial relations.
  • Experience in HRIS implementation and management.
  • Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and PPh 21 regulations.
  • Experience handling expatriate administration is an advantage.
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • BNSP HR Manager Certification and Brevet AB certification are advantageous.
