Job Responsibilities
- Lead and drive a 200+ engineering team across Mechanical, Utility, Electrical, and Automation functions to achieve Engineering and EHS KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost-effectiveness, automation, energy management, and overall operational excellence.
- Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of all equipment and utility systems through preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Analyze machine breakdowns, downtime, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and enhance efficiency.
- Plan and manage engineering budgets, including capital expenditure, maintenance, and project execution within timeline and cost targets.
- Oversee inventory planning and procurement of critical spare parts to minimize downtime risks.
- Implement best practices in maintenance while building a high-performing and effective engineering team.
- Collaborate with OEMs, service providers, and vendors to upgrade equipment and drive automation initiatives.
- Monitor, track, and report engineering KPIs with clear action plans for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and EHS standards across all operations.
- Support and drive sustainability and ESG-related initiatives within engineering scope.
- Ensure safety of personnel and equipment during operations, installation, modification, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in engineering leadership within manufacturing environments (200+ team size, 24/7 operations).
- Proven experience in leading large, diverse teams and working across cultures.
- Extensive hands-on experience with thermic fluid heaters, including complex piping systems, chillers, compressors, and AHUs.
- Strong track record of delivering measurable results in automation and sustainability initiatives.
- Solid experience in maintenance strategy, project execution, cost control, and energy management.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage engineering data, reporting, and performance tracking effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in medical device or manufacturing industries is preferred.
