Job Title: Head of Human Resources (HR Head)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Job Purpose : 

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and strengthen our HR function in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, ensuring legal compliance, managing local and expatriate employee matters including immigration and overseeing the full payroll process. This is a senior leadership role requiring both strategic foresight and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.


Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including:

  • Talent acquisition and onboarding
  • Performance management and employee development
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Payroll processing and statutory compliance
  • Learning and development programs

Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax and labour regulations.

  • Handle all immigration and expatriate management processes, including work permits (KITAS), visa sponsorships, renewals, and regulatory compliance. Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labour laws, immigration rules, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead employee relations initiatives, resolving issues effectively while maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams to implement group-wide initiatives and policies locally.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in line with company values.
  • Manage HR budgets, HR systems, and generate analytics to support decision-making.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 -15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Indonesian labour law compliance
    • End-to-end payroll processing (including taxes and BPJS)
    • Immigration processes for expatriate employees (KITAS, RPTKA, IMTA, etc.)
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing is a plus.
