About the Client
Our client is a leading bulk commodities trading company specializing in the trade of coal, nickel, and manganese ore across global markets. With a strong presence in international trade, they are seeking an experienced Senior Finance, Accounting, and Tax to 5-8 years with financial acumen, deep tax expertise, and the ability to handle complex audits.

Job Description

• Oversee and manage the full spectrum of financial accounting, including month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
• Lead tax planning and compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax, ensuring timely filing and accurate reporting.
• Coordinate and support external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to improve financial performance.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and accounting standards, advising management on potential impacts.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet) are a plus.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and tax, preferably in multinational companies or fast-growing organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Proven experience managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English (the successful candidate will report to an expat)
