Position : Finance Officer (Coal Mining Industry)
Job Summary:
The Finance Staff is responsible for supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, assisting in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and mining regulations. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis specific to mining activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Recording & Reporting
- Record daily financial transactions including AP/AR, general ledger, and journal entries.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations (e.g., PSAK/IFRS, PPH, PPN)
2. Cost & Budget Management
- Monitor daily and weekly cash flow and banking activities.
- Assist in the preparation and control of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
3. Cash Flow & Treasury.
- Monitor and update cash flow reports for both site and HQ.
- Support in payment processing and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations for vendor payments and project funding.
4. Asset & Inventory Monitoring
Assist in tracking fixed assets (heavy equipment, vehicles, etc.) and depreciation.
Coordinate with warehouse/operations team for inventory costing and stock movements.
5. Compliance & Audit
- Assist with internal and external audits, particularly related to site expenditures and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and government regulations (e.g., royalties, taxes in mining).
6.Management Support
Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Ensure timely and accurate financial data for cross-functional reporting and presentations.
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Min 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry.

Familiar with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP software).

Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic financial modeling).

Understanding of mining project costing is a strong plus.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
