Position Highlights

Candidate reports directly to the CEO and will coordinate closely with Senior Management Team and HODs to develop strategic directions for the organization

Support the leadership team on organizational design, shaping culture, development and implementation of strategic Human Recourse initiatives in alignment to organizations goals and objectives

The role is centre around driving people and management strategies, which includes business culture, core values, wellbeing and welfare of employees for future talent attraction.

The candidate will need to take ownership of all HR systems, to effectively manage processes relating to employee relations, social and legal compliance, budgets, staffing, training and culture.

Core areas of oversight includes: Employee & Industrial Relations (including Union Management), Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR Information

Systems and Payroll Administration

Acts as an internal consultant (Go to Person) to the HODs and Senior Management on all People related matters

Acts as a role model in driving the assimilation of MST Core Values and Business Code of Conduct

The Candidate will lead a direct team of 8 team members and a further indirect team of approximately 60.

The job will entail spending Monday - Saturday (half day) at the Company's production facility in Medan, Indonesia

Job Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement agenda with focus on employee engagement and welfare activities, maximising productivity and building leadership capabilities.

Ensures a strong focus on employee total costs to company which is supported by various HR metrics and dashboards tracked on a monthly basis

Drives the digitisations of HR processes to ensure an efficient provision of HR services and seamless data generation as and when needed

Manage the execution of Human Resource strategy and core areas of Human Resource that includes the application of employment law, HR policies and best practices and workforce development.

Lead an effective recruitment strategy for talent attraction, ensure compensation & benefits structures, pay policies, and market benchmarking activities are up to date and remain competitive

Provide professional leadership to support the development of HR members to increase knowledge and sharing of best practices to ensure relevant professional standards are met.

Ensure compliance to employment and industrial regulations, including Global Social Compliance Indicators and Environmental, ESG, Health & Safety Act
