About our Client:

Our client is a rapidly scaling technology innovator specializing in Smart Grid and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions with a proven track record of empowering utility companies through cutting-edge digital platforms. 

They are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects and services within the utilities sector (electricity, gas, water, or renewable energy). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities operations, project management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes aligned with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Utilities end to end solution, IT, or service transformation projects across utility networks (e.g., smart metering, grid modernization, customer service platforms).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project scope, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, risks, and resource utilization; implement mitigation plans where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with utility regulations, environmental standards, and health & safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain delivery dashboards, progress reports, and documentation for senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to enhance service efficiency.
  • Support change management, training, and operational handover during project transitions.




Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 10+ years of project or delivery management experience, preferably within the utilities or energy sector.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale projects (e.g., SCADA, AMI, CRM upgrades) from initiation to delivery.
  • Experienced in managing big teams (100+ members total).
  • Familiarity with utility regulatory frameworks, customer service requirements, and emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, cloud, AI).
  • Strong expertise in Program Management, Project Management, and managing large-scale and complex programs
  • Experience in People Management, including the ability to coach and mentor diverse teams and manage performance effectively
  • Proven Consulting and strategic advisory skills to influence key stakeholders and drive business outcomes
  • Team Management skills including fostering collaboration, defining goals, and delivering results
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Working experience in Indonesia region and good understanding of local business practices is an advantage
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP) and methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Preferred Certifications:
    PMP or PRINCE2
    ITIL Foundation
    Agile/Scrum Master Certification
    Utility-specific training (e.g., NERC, FERC, ISO standards)
