Position : HR IR Assitent Manager  (Textile Manufacture)

Company Overview :
Our Client is an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai. The group's business interests include metals, cement, fashion and retail, financial services, renewables, fibre, textiles, chemicals, real estate, trading, mining, and entertainment. They have a strong presence in the textile and yarn industry, known for producing high-quality viscose and blended yarns

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and exit formalities.
  • Implement and monitor HR policies and ensure alignment with labor laws.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, training & development programs, and performance management cycles.
  • Support in HRMIS data management and HR analytics reporting.

Industrial Relations (IR):

  • Handle day-to-day IR matters including discipline, grievance redressal, and employee relations.
  • Liaise with union representatives and participate in collective bargaining, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, Payment of Wages Act, etc.).
  • Maintain statutory records and liaison with labor departments, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.

Compliance & Audits:

  • Prepare for labor audits and respond to notices and inspections.
  • Implement best practices in compliance and keep updated with changes in labor legislation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders internal and external.
  • Fluent in English both written & spoken

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (mandatory)
  • Masters in Human Resource Management / MSW / MBA-HR (preferred)
