HR Site Manager
About the job HR Site Manager
Our client is a multinational conglomerate operating in the coal mining industry, located in Bengalon, East Kalimantan.
Responsibilities :
- Manage industrial relations, including negotiations with labor unions and the development and maintenance of the Company Labor Agreement (CLA).
- Collaborate with top management to develop and manage the annual employee budget.
- Oversee the review, preparation, and monitoring of employee contracts to ensure legal compliance and consistency.
- Design and maintain job descriptions across departments, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
- Develop and monitor departmental KPIs, reporting performance metrics and analysis directly to the Board of Directors.
- Lead the design and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community development initiatives.
- Manage all HR administrative systems, including employee databases, attendance records, leave management, and payroll processing.
- Supervise the implementation of social security programs (BPJS/Jamsostek) and ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of PPH 21 (employee income tax).
- Oversee training programs, including the renewal of SIO permits for equipment operators and re-certification of tools and licenses.
- Represent the HR Manager in meetings and discussions with external partners and stakeholders.
- Serve as an ISO Audit Team member, creating and maintaining monthly audit schedules across departments.
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Represent the company in employment-related legal proceedings, including labor court cases.
- Draft, review, and manage legal contracts and agreements with buyers and third-party vendors.
- Liaise with external legal counsel to address and resolve company legal matters.
- Coordinate with notaries to finalize legal agreements and company documentation.
- Represent the Board of Directors in strategic meetings with partner companies and government bodies.
Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of HR IR experience , with at least 10 years in a managerial role within the coal mining industry
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian labor law, union relations, site HR practices, and mining sector compliance standards.
- Proven experience in managing remote site HR operations, preferably in East Kalimantan or similar locations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in challenging environments.
Has experience handle open site end to end process - Good communication in English
- Familiarity with ISO standards, audit processes, and stakeholder engagement best practices.
Requirements : - Candidates must be willing to relocate to the site in Bengalon, East Kalimantan.
- This role follows an 8-week on-site schedule with a 2-week field break rotation.
