Job Description

Position: Business Development Manager / Head of Business Development (Industrial Estate)
Department: Industrial Park – i-Sentra
Reporting To: Head of SBU Industrial Park

Role Overview

The role is responsible for leading, planning, and executing the business development strategy for i-Sentra Industrial Estate, managed by Jakamitra. The position focuses on expanding the investor and tenant base, increasing revenue, strengthening market positioning, and enhancing the long-term competitiveness of the industrial estate.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement business development strategies to position i-Sentra Industrial Estate as a competitive industrial hub, including marketing initiatives, promotions, and market expansion.

  2. Identify, pursue, and manage prospective investors and tenants for the industrial estate.

  3. Establish and maintain relationships with government institutions, business associations, and strategic partners.

  4. Conduct market analysis on industry trends, regulatory developments, and domestic and international market opportunities.

  5. Lead branding, promotional activities, and strategic positioning to strengthen i-Sentras competitiveness both nationally and internationally.

  6. Manage relationships with existing tenants, potential investors, and business partners.

  7. Monitor business development performance, sales targets, and KPIs, and provide regular reports to the Head of SBU Industrial Park.

  8. Lead and develop the Business Development team to achieve optimal performance and business targets.

Job Requirements

Education
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree (S1)

  • Masters Degree (S2) preferred

Experience
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in business development, investment, or marketing, preferably within industrial estate, property development, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.

Language Skills
  • Proficient in English

  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage

  1. Strong capability in developing business strategies and industrial estate expansion plans.

  2. Good understanding of domestic and foreign investment (FDI) processes, including industrial estate licensing and regulations.

  3. Ability to conduct financial modelling and investment feasibility analysis (IRR, NPV, BEP).

  4. Strong negotiation skills and deal-closing capability.

  5. Extensive professional network in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and investment sectors.

  6. Ability to prepare investment proposals, business presentations, and professional pitch decks.

  7. Understanding of manufacturing industry trends, supply chain dynamics, and international trade policies.

  8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  9. Strong analytical thinking, leadership capability, team management skills, integrity, and professionalism.
