About the job Maintenance Technician

  1. To provide safe, prompt and efficient support to the maintenance and operation of  Equipment, Vessels and Facilities.
  2. To provide support to spill incidents, exercises, equipment hire services globally as required.
  3. Ensure that all activities are carried out with due regard to personal safety, the safety of others and the environmental considerations in line with company policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain, repair, upgrade of  assets, including spill response equipment, vessels, dispersant stockpile, equipment hire stockpile in accordance with highest standards under supervision.
  5. Troubleshoot equipment defects and develop a scope of work for repair, including any proposed improvement to improve performance or to minimize breakdown.
  6. Maintain and update equipment database to ensure response readiness of  assets as instructed by Maintenance Supervisor.
  7. Ensure that all equipment testing and supporting documents follow highest standards and regulations.
  8. Assist with the maintenance of Singapore base infrastructure (buildings, water, lighting, air conditioning etc.) to ensure that it is fit for purpose and ready to support all required base work and operational activities, in compliance with highest standards and local regulations.
  9. Take responsibility in developing his/her own skill and knowledge to aid effective performance in the role.
  10. Provide a source of expertise to other departments and assist them as directed by Singapore Maintenance Supervisor and Regional Asset Management and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
  11. Assist with coordination of contractors and supervision of contractor works as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Regional Asset Management and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
  12. To provide support to other departmental projects as directed by Singapore Maintenance Supervisor and Regional Asset Management and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
