Position: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $80,000 – $90,000 per year (dependent on relevant experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department
  • Support the development and coordination of nursing services to ensure continuity of care
  • Design and implement staff education programs, including orientation, training, and ongoing development
  • Lead and manage the Infection Control Program and related initiatives
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to maintain quality care standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation with nursing leadership

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care
  • Strong understanding of nursing practices and long-term care regulations
  • CPR/BCLS and IV certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
