We are partnering with a trusted healthcare organization in Oregon to hire a Radiologic Technologist / Medical Imaging Tech I. What you'll do
You'll perform a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages, applying modality-specific principles to deliver reliable results and a great patient experience. You'll also support day-to-day workflow by:
- Performing imaging studies safely and accurately within your scope and modality (e.g., X-ray, Mammography, CT, MRI—based on certification)
- Using strong positioning and technique to ensure diagnostic-quality images
- Supporting daily patient flow and department workflow; providing day-to-day leadership in coordination and throughput
- Communicating effectively with patients, providers, and team members to ensure a smooth exam experience
- Maintaining confidentiality and working independently with minimal supervision when needed
- Maintaining consistent, punctual attendance for assigned shifts
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification in the relevant modality
- Oregon license or recent graduate with a valid temporary Oregon permit prior to taking ARRT registry
- ARRT registry must be obtained within a reasonable time frame (not to exceed 1 year)
- AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider)
Safety & quality commitments (required)
- Image Wisely pledge certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire; renew annually by January 30)
- Image Gently pledge certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire; renew annually by January 30)
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- 1 year hospital-based imaging experience

Physical/clinical requirements (role demands)
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
- Respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
- Maintain adequate hearing and visual acuity (including color vision)
- Use fine motor skills and strong eye-hand coordination
- Use safe body mechanics to assist patients with transfers and ambulation
- Lift up to 75 pounds (as required)
- Use standard and isolation precautions due to potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or infectious diseases
- Communicate effectively (reading, writing, speaking in person and by phone)
- Periodically use a personal computer
