Key Responsibilities

1. Perform outfitting design and engineering for shipbuilding and offshore projects,

including decks, compartments, access systems, and outfitting arrangements.

2. Prepare and review outfitting layouts, detailed drawings, and technical

documentation in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.

3. Ensure compliance with classification society regulations (ABS, DNV, LR, BV,

etc.) and international conventions such as IMO and SOLAS.

4. Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and 3D model reviews, resolving

interface issues with structural, piping, HVAC, electrical, and safety disciplines.

5. Support FEED and detailed design phases, ensuring design intent, constructability,

and operational requirements are met.

6. Respond to technical queries from shipyards, fabricators, and site teams, and provide

engineering clarifications as required.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in ship or offshore outfitting design, with hands

on involvement in engineering projects.

2. Solid understanding of shipbuilding and offshore outfitting systems, including

access, safety equipment, and general outfitting arrangements.

3. Experience in FEED and/or detailed design stages is highly preferred.

4. Familiarity with classification society rules and international maritime

conventions.
