Junior Ship Broker (S&P) - Jakarta

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior brokers in managing and developing relationships with clients and ship owners
• Conduct market research and analysis on chemical tanker freight rates and industry trends
• Support the negotiation and drafting of chartering contracts
• Coordinate communication between ship owners, charterers, and agents
• Develop and maintain up-to-date market knowledge for chemical tanker operations
• Assist with administrative tasks and general office support as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or related fields
• Strong interest in the chemical tanker sector and the maritime industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
