- Develop a strong understanding of technical requirements and regulations related to LSA, firefighting systems, load testing, and calibration.
- Manage incoming enquiries, prepare and issue quotations, follow up with clients to secure orders, and generate order confirmations in line with internal sales procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, ZoomInfo, and marketing platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Work closely with service, technical, finance, and logistics teams to ensure effective project coordination and service delivery.
- Support and comply with QA standards as well as HSEQ policies and regulations.
- Drive sales initiatives within assigned territories across organisation and group network, including cold calling, business development, and client visits.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to secure technical support during the sales process.
- Meet agreed sales targets in collaboration with senior management.
- Maintain regular engagement with key industry stakeholders such as fleet managers, superintendents, technical teams, procurement departments, agents, shipyards, shipowners, consultants, and prospective clients.
- Provide input on sales priorities to align activities with the companys marketing strategy and business objectives.
- Offer feedback to improve and refine the product range in response to market demand.
- Negotiate and conclude contracts on the most favourable commercial terms possible.
- Support public relations and marketing initiatives alongside the marketing team.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, demonstrations, and industry events.
- Process and record orders according to the latest internal procedures.
- Assist in internal contract reviews to ensure accuracy of product specifications and orders.
- Gather and share market intelligence on pricing, competitors, and market trends to keep the company informed and competitive.
- Contribute to the development of sales plans, forecasts, and budgets with senior leadership or appointed sales heads.
- Help develop, implement, and advise on sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
